Amir Khodabakhsh
Amir Khodabakhsh received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics in 2005 and M.Sc. degree in electrical Engineering/Photonics in 2009. From 2006 to 2012 he worked as an R&D Engineer, focusing on photonic and optical fiber sensors. In 2013 he joined Umea University (Umea, Sweden) where he received the PhD degree in Experimental Physics in 2017. His thesis was focused on cavity-enhanced Fourier transform and Vernier spectroscopy using optical frequency combs.
Since November 2017 he joined the Institute for Molecules and Materials at Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands) as a postdoctoral research follow. His research field includes developing novel broadband and sensitive spectroscopy techniques/systems (e.g. Dual Comb Spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Spectroscopy) for multispecies trace gas detection in various applications (e.g. plasma analysis, pollution detection and life science).
